We left Minneapolis on the 29th of September and headed to cemeteries outside of Chicago. After a rainy, cold trudge to find Loyalist descendants of Kathys, we stayed overnight in Hammond, Indiana. The next day we made our way to Detroit. Highlights included a visit to the Cranbrook campus, the Henry Ford Museum and Hitsville USA, home of Motown Records. On to Toronto and its Distillery District with its renovated factories and a great gin tasting and fantastic chocolate. It was then on to Montreal and it's eponymous cemetery, St Joseph Oratory and a wonderful art museum. More great food and drink, too.
